I think it mostly stems from quickly approaching deadlines and very little time to sit and draw. When I do get a chance to draw, I feel very pressured to hurry and crank something out really quick since time is so limited... and oh, try not to make it suck... and oh, 10 minutes just passed time is running out, HURRY UP!!... but no pressure. tick-tick-tick.
I actually had a dream last night that I was at a comic book convention and I saw Joe Kubert at a booth. I went up and asked him for some tips because I was freaking out. He was very friendly and looked at my art and gave me some amazing advice. (At least in the dream it was totally life altering.)
When I woke up I was like, "Whu? That's it? Don't worry about inking the panel borders with a brush, go ahead and do them in the computer? That's the big secret?"
In the dream it seemed to solve all my problems. But, then I woke up.

You're a pretty rad drawer...
And I'm gonna fav you so I can watch what else you churn out
keep it up
